Pictures from Iowa: POSTED!
For those of you who don’t know, I spent last week in Iowa for my friend Zack’s wedding. Very, very good time. The two main events were the bachelor party on the 14th and the wedding itself on the 17th.
The party started off on Wednesday with some golfing in a downpour. Luckily the lighting wasn’t close to where we were, otherwise I doubt that they would have let us play. I played pretty well considering the club nearly flew out of my hands a few times. After golf we went back to Zack’s to grill some brats and shave ourselves in preparation for that evenings festivities. For the bachelor party proper we rented a bus to drive us around Cedar Rapids, IA. There was lots of drinking, lots of beer-can throwing (see pics of Nathan’s nose)…good times…ask Zack about his back.

Thursday night was the practice ceremony and rehearsal dinner. Friday I ate dinner at Zack’s again, then attempted to go fishing with him and Tony. Unfortunately it was pitch black and we didn’t have a flash light, and my reel got all fouled up right after my first cast. I didn’t actually do any fishing, I just sat there in the dark trying to get that reel untangled. After about an hour of not catching anything we gave up and went into Iowa City to play some pool.
