I heartily support this kind of advertising. Mainly because being in the ad biz, I want to have the confidence to walk into a client meeting, and PITCH this with a straight face. Well done.

I find this article from Ars Technica to be both scary and depressing. It is an outline of the Department of Justice’s argument against federal regulations of net neutrality (NN).
They appear to have two arguments in favor of continuing the current laissez faire manner of regulation. One:

When I heard the announcement that personalized ringtones for the iPhone would cost $2 my first thought was, “Well…that’s a bit pricey but hopefully it’ll keep me from having to hear ‘In Da Club’ blasting out of peoples cellphones.”
